Our monthly presentation on what you can see in the sky for the current month is this Friday, February 2. Join us in person in Sperry Observatory. The presentation begins at 8:30 pm.

Our next monthly speaker series meeting is on Friday, February 16, at 8:00 pm in the Roy Smith Theatre located on the main campus of Union College in Cranford. The speaker is science and space writer Jonathan Ward from the Royal Astronomical Society. Mr. Ward co-wrote the book, “Eileen Collins: First Female Space Shuttle Commander” with Commander Collins. The meeting is open to the public and registration is not required.

And SAVE THE DATE, SATURDAY MAY 4TH, for ASTRONOMY DAY! Our theme is “The Science of Star Wars”. Details of the event will be forthcoming.

Sperry Observatory is open for observing from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm every Friday night with the exception of the 1st Friday of each month from September to May. A presentation on an astronomy related topic is given at 8:30 pm. This is free and open to the public.
