This committee shall organize and publicize astronomical activities for members, the public, other astronomy clubs, and/or groups and entities that may be interested in these activities. Activities are impromptu star parties, planned observation activities other than at Sperry Observatory, sidewalk astronomy, field trips, and the like. This committee shall coordinate its activities with the Observation Committee and Displays and Presentations Committee, so as to not conflict with any previously scheduled AAI public presentations.
