Quasars are the brightest and most powerful objects in the universe, and they formed at surprisingly early times – only a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. Scientists are still trying to understand how these billion solar mass objects formed so quickly and what these objects can teach us about the conditions of the early universe. Join us on Friday to learn about these intriguing and interesting objects. And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is 76 years young and still going strong!

See below for information about the weekly  presentation and location.
