Want to know what is in the sky during the month of July? Once again it’s time for our monthly presentation of “What’s Up: A Down to Earth Sky Guide”. This is our monthly presentation on what you what you can see in the night sky during the current month. Join us this Friday July 11 to find out what constellations, Moon phases, planets and more will be visible. And maybe hear about some space mission news too. And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), celebrated 75 years as an astronomy club in November, 2024!

Join us this  evening, September 26, starting at 7:30 pm for our Telescope Night! Bring your telescope from home and we'll show you how to use it. See details below.
