A Dwarf Star Caught Eating Its Planets. A Pro-Am Collaboration

It has been theorized that white dwarf stars “eat”  their planets due to disrupted orbits. Star WD1145 had an unusual transit activity now attributed to the star actively eating one of its planets, the first such observation made in a white dwarf star.
