Announcing “Four Centuries in a Weekend” – Sperry Observatory will be open on Saturday October 18 and Sunday, October 19 from 12- 5:00 pm for the “Four Centuries in a Weekend” history event. Come spend the weekend at Sperry during this annual Union County celebration of historic houses and sites. Sperry will be hosting tours and Amateur Astronomers, Inc. members will be available to answer your astronomy questions. We will also be distributing gently-used astronomy and science-related books, magazines and posters that were donated for this purpose. This is a free daytime event. There is ample parking onsite and we gladly welcome all visitors.
