December 19 is our monthly meeting beginning at 8:00 pm in the Roy Smith Theatre. All are welcome to attend. Our committees will report about the events and activities going on at AAI. This will be followed by our guest speaker, Emma Friedman, formerly from Goddard Space Flight Center. The data gathered by NASA’s Voyager 2 spacecraft shaped our understanding of the distant Uranus and subsequently our Solar System. But now scientists from NASA and Oxford University are reshaping our comprehension of ice giants and the Solar System. Ms. Friedman’s presentation will be on this amazing information. Following the presentation join us back at Sperry Observatory around 10:00 pm for observing, weather permitting, through our 2 large telescopes and also refreshments. And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is 76 years young and still going strong!
