Today, Saturday, Mary 16, is Astronomy Day! Our theme is “Our Strange Universe”. Learn about the strange occurrences such as black holes, exoplanets and more. Join us at Trailside Nature & Science Center in Mountainside in the afternoon from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm for children’s activities, presentations, science demonstrations, robotics, safe solar observing, meteorites and geology displays, a scavenger hunt and more. In the evening from 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm come to Sperry Observatory for observing through the 2 large telescopes and a presentation on ‘Dark & Weird Space Things”. This is geared to both children and adults.
