Over the years our understanding of the Milky Way, its structure, stars and formation have changed as observations of it have continued develop. Join us this Friday, July 25, as we delve into the mapping of our home galaxy, the Milky Way. And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), celebrated 75 years as an astronomy club in November, 2024!

See below for Friday's presentation with a guest speaker and observing information. NOTE: Observatory doors open on November 21 at 10:00 pm after the monthly meeting.
