The Autumn of 2025 will be a busy one. Comets are coming! Join us for a discussion of how and where to see these new objects this season! And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy. Also join us for “Four Centuries in a Weekend” on Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19. Sperry Observatory will be open both days from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Tours of the Observatory will be held along with safe solar observing, weather permitting. And talk to members of AAI about the Observatory, astronomy and the club.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), celebrated 75 years as an astronomy club in November, 2024!

See below for Friday's presentation with a guest speaker and observing information. NOTE: Observatory doors open on November 21 at 10:00 pm after the monthly meeting.
