What are spectra? How they are produced from starlight, and the information that they contain? Spectra can tell us about the elements in stars and about the motion of galaxies. Spectra can help us investigate the evolution of the cosmos, the existence of exoplanets, and the sources of gravitational waves. Join us this coming Friday as we delve into this fascinating aspect of science and how it benefits astronomy. And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is 76 years young and still going strong!

See below for information about the weekly  presentations, times and locations.
