Pluto – On the Borderland of Sol – Pluto is a dwarf planet located at the outermost area of our solar system. Learn about this interesting and far observed planet that has gotten a lot of attention in the past several years. Learn about its own mini system of moons, its atmosphere and more. This presentation is given in an easy to understand format for most ages. So, come to Sperry Observatory for an interesting and informative evening. And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), celebrated 75 years as an astronomy club in November, 2024!

Sperry Observatory will be open to the public this Friday, April 25,  at 10:00 pm, after the monthly meeting. Join us in the Roy Smith Theater at 8:00 pm with our guest speaker followed by observing at 10:00 pm in the Observatory.  Register at the entrance to the Observatory.
