ASTRONOMY DAY is coming on SATURDAY, MAY 17! – Click on Events in the Menu bar above and scroll down to “Astronomy Day” to learn more information. And join us this Friday, April 18, at 8:30 pm, for our presentation “Holidays in Space”. Humans carried their customs, celebrations, and traditions to wherever they settled.  Going into space is no exception.  This talk covers 12 months’ worth of people’s heritages and holidays now celebrated in zero-g.    And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), celebrated 75 years as an astronomy club in November, 2024!

See below for Friday's presentation with a guest speaker and observing information. NOTE: Observatory doors open on November 21 at 10:00 pm after the monthly meeting.
