Welcome to May! Since it is the first Friday of the month we begin with a presentation on what will be visible in the sky during the month of May. Learn what constellations, planets, Moon phases and more will be there to observe. And maybe we will get some space news too. The presentation is given in an easy to understand format for most ages. And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy. AND join us for Astronomy Day on Saturday, May 16 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Trailside Nature & Science Center and at Sperry Observatory in the evening from 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is 76 years young and still going strong!

See below for information about the weekly  presentations, times and locations. Astronomy Day is coming on May 16.
