What’s Up: A Down to Earth Sky Guide – Welcome to September! It’s the first Friday of the month. This means it’s time for the monthly presentation on what you can see in the night sky during the current month. Learn what will be visible including constellations, Moon phases, planets, and more during September. Join us for this educational and interesting presentation given in an easy to understand format for most ages.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is celebrating 75 years as an astronomy club this coming November!

AAI is celebrating 75 years as an astronomy club! Sperry Observatory is open to the public on Fridays  from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm (weather permitting). A presentation is given at 8:30 on an astronomy related topic. Register either through the red banner below or at the entrance to the Observatory.
