Saturn 2024: Ring Crossing Ahead! Special planetary presentation on Saturn and its rings will be held this Friday! In the system of the rings – why will Saturn’s huge rings seem to disappear? This occurs about every 13 to 16 years. And why does that happen? Join us on Friday, September 13 at 8:30 pm to find out about one of the most interesting planets in our solar system and its rings.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is celebrating 75 years as an astronomy club this coming November!

AAI is celebrating its 75th Anniversary as an Astronomy Club! Sperry Observatory is open to the public on Fridays from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm for observing (weather permitting). A presentation is given at 8:30 pm on an astronomy related topic. Register at the entrance to the Observatory.
