“What We’ve Learned About Astronomy in the Last 100 Years: Part 2: Stars” – So much research and discoveries have been found in just the past 100 years about Astronomy! It is incredible what we know now, and what we still don’t know, about our solar system, galaxy and even the Universe. Join us on Friday at 8:30 pm to find out what discoveries have been made about stars.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is celebrating 75 years as an astronomy club this coming November!

AAI is celebrating 75 years as an astronomy club! Sperry Observatory is open to the public on Fridays from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm for observing (weather permitting). A presentation is given at 8:30 pm on an astronomy related topic. Register at the entrance to the Observatory.
