“Searching for Life in Creation” – This Friday is our monthly meeting that is held in the Roy Smith Theatre on the campus of Union College in Cranford. It is open to both members of AAI and the public. We have a guest speaker, James Renn, who is the Vatican Observatory Ambassador. The Vatican Observatory uses its telescope to search for Extraterrestrial life. In response to this search, the astronomers and even the Pope have expressed opinions on what it would mean to discover Extraterrestrial Intelligence. The presentation begins at 8:00 pm followed by AAI’s meeting. Join us to find out about this interesting and informative presentation about searching for intelligent life elsewhere in our galaxy.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.
