“Jupiter: King of the Planets” – In November the planet Jupiter will be at opposition. This means that Jupiter can be seen all night long. We are having a special presentation about the largest planet in our solar system. So many discoveries have been made about Jupiter with the many missions that have been sent to and/or passed by Jupiter over the years. Join us on Friday at 8:30 pm to find out more about what this large and fascinating planet holds!

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.

AAI is celebrating 75 years as an astronomy club! Sperry Observatory is open to the public on Fridays from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm for observing (weather permitting). A presentation is given at 8:30 pm on an astronomy related topic. Register at the entrance to the Observatory.
