The Hunt for Life on Mars – Humanity is fascinated with the possibility of finding life on Mars. It is known that Mars was once more earthlike, and there are tantalizing clues that water may still exist there. Theories even suggest that life traveled from Mars and seeded the Earth. Joins us this Friday, January 17 at 8:00 pm in the Roy Smith Theater on the campus of Union College to learn about what potential discoveries have been made regarding the possibility if life on Mars. Our guest speaker, John Fontana, is a NASA Solar System Ambassador. Then after the meeting at 10:00 PM we open Sperry Observatory for observing and meeting and talking to members of AAI.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.
