“Moon Time – The Proposal to Establish Time Zones on the Moon” – Time Zones on the Moon? What is that all about? Given NASA’s plans for the Artemis Missions to return humans to the Moon, there may be a need to have time zones set up to help the astronauts live and work in a structured environment. Join us as we learn about this interesting concept and what the potential plans could be for establishing time zones on the Moon. The presentation is given in an educational and easy to understand format for most ages. Talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy. And learn about our upcoming Astronomy Day being held on Saturday, May 17, 2025!

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.
