And join us this Friday, May 9th, at 8:30 pm, for our presentation, “The Comet That Controlled Cranford”. This is a history lesson on how in 1986, Union College and AAI got together to show Comet Haley to the public. There’s some science and a lot of activity that will satisfy the rampant Comet fever! And talk to members of AAI who are always willing to share their knowledge of astronomy.

And learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.
