Many ground based telescopes are located in the mountains of the Atacama Desert located in Chile. Dr. Bill Griffeth has been fortunate to visit the Paranal Observatory located there. His presentation centers on what incredible Astronomy work is being done. So join us on Friday night at Sperry Observatory to hear Bill’s talk about the amazing work occurring in the Atacama.
Also learn about Amateur Astronomers, Inc. the Astronomy club that makes its home at Sperry Observatory located on the campus of Union College in Cranford, NJ and how you can join. And, weather permitting, we will do observing through h our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor.
Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (also known as AAI), is celebrating 75 years as an astronomy club this coming November.
